Acceptance
By using UltiKnit, you agree to the following terms.
Use of the app
UltiKnit is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to manage your knitting and crochet projects, store pattern information, and access our free pattern library.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, or sell the app or its content
- Use the app to infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Pattern library
The free patterns in UltiKnit include:
Original UltiKnit Patterns: Patterns marked ‘UltiKnit Patterns’ are original works created by, commissioned by, or purchased by UltiKnit and are © UltiKnit. These patterns may be used for personal use only and may not be redistributed or sold.
Public Domain Patterns: Some patterns come from public domain archives, where the original copyright has expired. The original patterns are free to use for any purpose. Our versions of them are not the originals — we have rewritten the instructions in modern terminology and created our own images and charts. That new work is © UltiKnit and may not be redistributed or sold. If you want the original, it is freely available from public archives.
All patterns are attributed in the Pattern Attributions section of this app.
Your content
You retain full ownership of all content you add to UltiKnit including projects, photos, notes, and stash data. UltiKnit claims no rights over your content.
Disclaimer
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that does not allow it to be excluded. Where a guarantee applies that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Subject to that, UltiKnit is provided as-is without warranty. We are not responsible for loss of data resulting from device failure, browser storage clearing, or app updates. Export keeps a copy of your projects, stash and pattern data, but it does not include your photos or imported PDFs — those live on your device, and in your account too if you have Pro.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms and will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and UltiKnit submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If you use UltiKnit as a consumer outside Australia, nothing in these terms takes away any consumer rights your own country’s law gives you and does not allow to be set aside.
