Delete your UltiKnit account

Last updated: 1 September 2026

UltiKnit is a knitting and crochet app, published by UltiKnit (ABN 64 670 350 027). You can delete your UltiKnit account, and everything stored in it, at any time. This page explains how to do that, what is removed, and what happens to a Pro subscription.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it happens straight away:

Before you confirm, the app shows you exactly what will happen, including any refund owed. Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no undo and no recovery period, so if you want to keep a copy of your work, export it first — the option is offered on the same screen.

If you no longer have the app

Email us at support@ultiknit.com from the email address on your UltiKnit account, and ask us to delete it. We will confirm by reply once it is done. If you write from a different address we may need to ask you a question or two first, so that nobody can delete someone else’s account.

What is deleted

Everything held in your account, including:

Your UltiKnit account itself is removed, so you will not be able to sign in again. If you want to use UltiKnit later, you are welcome to start a new account.

Deleting from inside the app also clears UltiKnit from the device you delete on. The app restarts as though it had just been installed.

If you used UltiKnit on more than one device

Deleting your account removes everything we hold, and clears the device you delete from. A second device that already has a copy of your work saved on it keeps that copy until UltiKnit is removed from it, or its browser storage is cleared — we have no way to reach a device we are not being contacted from.

To clear another device yourself, open UltiKnit on it and delete the app from your home screen, or clear the website data for app.ultiknit.com in that device’s browser settings.

Pro subscriptions and refunds

If you have an active Pro subscription, deleting your account cancels it, so you will not be charged again.

If a refund is owed to you under our refund policy, it is issued automatically to your original payment method as part of the deletion, and the amount is shown to you before you confirm. Within 14 days of subscribing that is a full refund. After 14 days on the yearly plan it is the unused whole months. The full policy is in our Terms of Use.

If you would rather keep your account and simply stop paying, you do not need to delete anything — cancel from Manage Subscription in your Profile, and contact us if a refund is owed.

What is kept

Once your account is deleted we hold nothing further about you.

Our payment provider, Stripe, keeps its own record of payments you made, under its own privacy policy, including for fraud checks and the legal obligations that apply to payment companies. Those are records of transactions, not your projects or your craft data, and they are not something we can remove on your behalf.

Anything stored on your own device is described above, and is yours to clear.
